Not just any Acoustic Duo.... This picture is of Taylormade Acoustic Duo performing for Marks and Spencer's customers at a loyalty card holder event in Christmas 2010.

We performed for 2 days at their flagship store at Fosse Park, Leicestershire and performed a few Christmas tracks along with some of our favourite tracks!

We were hand picked by Marks and Spencer's to perform for their customers and we are extremely proud to be a 'not just any' duo!

A big thank you to the staff at Fosse Park for making us feel like part of the team.

Taylormade Acoustic Duo & Live Band @ Milton Keynes Wedding Show 2010

Taylormade recently attended the Milton Keynes Wedding Show, in the Exhibition Area, Middleton Hall.  This is one of the largest Wedding Shows in the UK, and we're pleased to say the show was a big success!  


Our Acoustic Duo for Weddings performed live to entertain the crowd just before the Catwalk shows, which took place 3 times each day.  


We found it a really valuable show - we were able to meet soon-to-be Brides and Grooms and speak to them in person about their plans for their Wedding Music, and help them draw on our experience from the hundreds of weddings we have performed at.  As newlyweds ourselves we know exactly how it feels to be planning a Wedding!  - Chaos!  :)


Overall a really great weekend - thanks to all our fellow exhibitors for all your compliments and thanks to Les Nunn of Central Exhibitions for a great show.

Taylormade Acoustic Duo For Weddings - Emma and Mark Rose, Hulland Hall, Belper, Derbyshire

On 24th July, Matt and I from Taylormade Acoustic Duo had the pleasure of performing at Emma and Mark Rose's Wedding in Hulland, Derbyshire. Emma had booked us a year in advance of her special day so we had been looking forward to the performance for a long time.

We performed at Emma and Mark's Ceremony in the beautiful Hulland Church and then made our way to Hulland Hall where a stunning marquee had been erected in the beautiful grounds. With a starlight ceiling and chequered dance floor the marquee looked incredible!


Emma and Mark had even invited us to join them for their Wedding Breakfast and we were honoured to celebrate this special day with them and their closest friends and family!


We performed 'Make You Feel My Love' by Adele for their First Dance and had a really great time performing for such a lovely couple.


We would like to wish Emma and Mark all the best for their marriage and hope you had a brilliant time in Vegas!

Taylormade Acoustic Duo have their own Wedding!

I'm really delighted to let you all know that on 14th May 2010, Matt and I from Taylormade tied the knot in the most amazing location in Cuba in the Caribbean.

All of our closest friends and family were there to celebrate with us and we had an absolutely incredible time!

We had an Acoustic Trio who were just brilliant and it made the day so much more personal. It;s made me realise what a personal touch we bring to the Brides we perform for. It's was really great to see things from the other side!

We then sent them packing back to the UK and Matt and I enjoyed an incredible Honeymoon in one of the most breathtaking places I have EVER been to.

If you're undecided on a Honeymoon destination, give Cuba a thought! It's unbelievable value for money and packed with history, culture, passion and soul! Matt and I fell in love with Cuba and cannot recommend it enough!

I keep getting asked for tips by the Brides who have booked us and if there is one piece of advice I can give it would be:

JUST ENJOY IT!

It doesn't matter if it rains, if your hair isn't perfect, if the venue are running late - you get the idea! None of this matters, all that matters is you are surrounded by the people who love you most and you are about to become Husband and Wife! Sounds obvious I know but from experience it's the advice I wish I had be given before hand! Just take every single moment in, relax, and as above - ENJOY IT!

That's enough from me otherwise my Husband will tell me to stop being soppy! ;-)

Taylormade Acoustic Duo For Weddings - Genna and Carl Lovett, Claydon House, Buckinghamshire, April 2010

On 30th April 2010, Matt and I had the pleasure of performing at the Wedding Ceremony of Carl and Genna Lovett at the incredible Claydon House in Buckinghamshire.


Carl had booked us as a surprise for Genna and she had absolutely no idea we were going to be there!


We performed Eva Cassidy's 'Songbird' as Genna entered with her Bridesmaids and the look of joy when she realised it was us will stay with me for a long time!

During the signing of the register we performed 'Somewhere over the rainbow' and 'All you need is love' the Beatles Classic.


Genna and Carl then took their exit into the beautiful gardens to 'Greatest Day' by Take That.


We would like to wish Genna and Carl every happiness in their marriage and we are so pleased we were a part of your special day!

Taylormade Acoustic Duo For Wedding - Michelle and Chris, Coombe Abbey, Warwickshire April 2010

On 24th April 2010, Matt and I had the pleasure of visiting the stunning Coombe Abbey in Warwickshire for the Wedding of Michelle and Chris.


Michelle and Chris had booked us to provide their evening entertainment in what was a beautifully intimate Wedding reception for their closest friends and family.


Matt and I really enjoy performing at intimate Weddings as it they can be very personal and we can have more interaction with everyone.


Michelle and Chris asked us to start with some beautiful love songs like 'Endless Love' and 'You're Still The One' and the setting was absolutely gorgeous in this incredible venue which dates back to the 12th Century.


We performed 2 x 45 minute sets over the course of the evening and had a really lovely time performing for Michelle and Chris and their guests.


We would like to say congratulations once again to Michelle and Chris and wish them all the best for their marriage!

Olly & Emma Wright - Redwood Lodge Country Club - 6th April 2010 - TAYLORMADE ACOUSTIC DUO

On 6th April 2010, Carley and I had the pleasure of performing for the Ceremony and Drinks Reception of Olly and Emma, at The Redwood Lodge Country Club, Bristol.

Olly and Emma's Ceremony was absolutely lovely, as we performed Eva Cassidy's 'Fields of Gold' and Take That's 'Greatest Day' as their guests arrived in the Ceremony Hall. For Emma's entrance, we performed 'This Year's Love' by David Gray, which we learnt especially for Emma & Olly. During the signing of the Register we performed 'Songbird', another favourite of Olly and Emma's.

As the new Mr & Mrs Wright mingled with their guests at their Drinks Reception, we performed an hour's acoustic set in the lovely lounge area. It was a real pleasure to perform for Olly and Emma, they make a fantastic couple!
