Jayne & Geoff Sherwin - Deer Park Hotel, Devon

In September, Matt and I had the pleasure of performing at Jayne & Geoff' Sherwin Wedding in the Devonshire countryside.

Jayne & Geoff booked us after seeing us perform live and by coincidence Jayne is originally from Wales too, in fact just down the road from where my parents live!

We performed 2 songs during their ceremony in the beautiful Broadhembury Church, 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow' By Eva Cassidy as Jayne walked down the aisle, and 'From This Moment' By Shania Twain as they signed the register.

We then moved onto the stunning Deer Park Hotel for the reception. We performed another set on the patio in the sunshine as Jayne, Geoff and their guests enjoyed a glass (or two!) of Bucks Fizz!

We learnt a song called 'When God Made You' By Newsong which is a very personal song to Jayne & Geoff and this was the first song of our set.

As we were going to be with Jayne and Geoff all day they had kindly invited us to dine with them and be a part of their Wedding Breakfast. We were honoured to dine with them and be such a big part of their celebration.

The speeches were really touching and in his speech, Geoff thanked us for making their day so special.

We performed again in the evening and Jayne and Geoff's First Dance was to 'Greatest Day' By Take That. After our set we kicked off the disco and the dance floor was packed until the small hours!

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would like to thank Jayne and Geoff for allowing us to be such a big part of their day. We wish them all the best for the future and hope they have a fantastic honeymoon in Turkey!
