Not just any Acoustic Duo.... This picture is of Taylormade Acoustic Duo performing for Marks and Spencer's customers at a loyalty card holder event in Christmas 2010.

We performed for 2 days at their flagship store at Fosse Park, Leicestershire and performed a few Christmas tracks along with some of our favourite tracks!

We were hand picked by Marks and Spencer's to perform for their customers and we are extremely proud to be a 'not just any' duo!

A big thank you to the staff at Fosse Park for making us feel like part of the team.

Taylormade Acoustic Duo & Live Band @ Milton Keynes Wedding Show 2010

Taylormade recently attended the Milton Keynes Wedding Show, in the Exhibition Area, Middleton Hall. This is one of the largest Wedding Shows in the UK, and we're pleased to say the show was a big success!

Our Acoustic Duo for Weddings performed live to entertain the crowd just before the Catwalk shows, which took place 3 times each day.

We found it a really valuable show - we were able to meet soon-to-be Brides and Grooms and speak to them in person about their plans for their Wedding Music, and help them draw on our experience from the hundreds of weddings we have performed at. As newlyweds ourselves we know exactly how it feels to be planning a Wedding! - Chaos! :)

Overall a really great weekend - thanks to all our fellow exhibitors for all your compliments and thanks to Les Nunn of Central Exhibitions for a great show.

Taylormade Acoustic Duo For Weddings - Emma and Mark Rose, Hulland Hall, Belper, Derbyshire

On 24th July, Matt and I from Taylormade Acoustic Duo had the pleasure of performing at Emma and Mark Rose's Wedding in Hulland, Derbyshire. Emma had booked us a year in advance of her special day so we had been looking forward to the performance for a long time.

We performed at Emma and Mark's Ceremony in the beautiful Hulland Church and then made our way to Hulland Hall where a stunning marquee had been erected in the beautiful grounds. With a starlight ceiling and chequered dance floor the marquee looked incredible!

Emma and Mark had even invited us to join them for their Wedding Breakfast and we were honoured to celebrate this special day with them and their closest friends and family!

We performed 'Make You Feel My Love' by Adele for their First Dance and had a really great time performing for such a lovely couple.

We would like to wish Emma and Mark all the best for their marriage and hope you had a brilliant time in Vegas!

Taylormade Acoustic Duo have their own Wedding!

I'm really delighted to let you all know that on 14th May 2010, Matt and I from Taylormade tied the knot in the most amazing location in Cuba in the Caribbean.

All of our closest friends and family were there to celebrate with us and we had an absolutely incredible time!

We had an Acoustic Trio who were just brilliant and it made the day so much more personal. It;s made me realise what a personal touch we bring to the Brides we perform for. It's was really great to see things from the other side!

We then sent them packing back to the UK and Matt and I enjoyed an incredible Honeymoon in one of the most breathtaking places I have EVER been to.

If you're undecided on a Honeymoon destination, give Cuba a thought! It's unbelievable value for money and packed with history, culture, passion and soul! Matt and I fell in love with Cuba and cannot recommend it enough!

I keep getting asked for tips by the Brides who have booked us and if there is one piece of advice I can give it would be:

JUST ENJOY IT!

It doesn't matter if it rains, if your hair isn't perfect, if the venue are running late - you get the idea! None of this matters, all that matters is you are surrounded by the people who love you most and you are about to become Husband and Wife! Sounds obvious I know but from experience it's the advice I wish I had be given before hand! Just take every single moment in, relax, and as above - ENJOY IT!

That's enough from me otherwise my Husband will tell me to stop being soppy! ;-)

Taylormade Acoustic Duo For Weddings - Genna and Carl Lovett, Claydon House, Buckinghamshire, April 2010

On 30th April 2010, Matt and I had the pleasure of performing at the Wedding Ceremony of Carl and Genna Lovett at the incredible Claydon House in Buckinghamshire.

Carl had booked us as a surprise for Genna and she had absolutely no idea we were going to be there!

We performed Eva Cassidy's 'Songbird' as Genna entered with her Bridesmaids and the look of joy when she realised it was us will stay with me for a long time!

Taylormade Acoustic Duo For Wedding - Michelle and Chris, Coombe Abbey, Warwickshire April 2010

On 24th April 2010, Matt and I had the pleasure of visiting the stunning Coombe Abbey in Warwickshire for the Wedding of Michelle and Chris.

Michelle and Chris had booked us to provide their evening entertainment in what was a beautifully intimate Wedding reception for their closest friends and family.

Matt and I really enjoy performing at intimate Weddings as it they can be very personal and we can have more interaction with everyone.

Michelle and Chris asked us to start with some beautiful love songs like 'Endless Love' and 'You're Still The One' and the setting was absolutely gorgeous in this incredible venue which dates back to the 12th Century.

We performed 2 x 45 minute sets over the course of the evening and had a really lovely time performing for Michelle and Chris and their guests.

We would like to say congratulations once again to Michelle and Chris and wish them all the best for their marriage!

Olly & Emma Wright - Redwood Lodge Country Club - 6th April 2010 - TAYLORMADE ACOUSTIC DUO

On 6th April 2010, Carley and I had the pleasure of performing for the Ceremony and Drinks Reception of Olly and Emma, at The Redwood Lodge Country Club, Bristol.

Olly and Emma's Ceremony was absolutely lovely, as we performed Eva Cassidy's 'Fields of Gold' and Take That's 'Greatest Day' as their guests arrived in the Ceremony Hall. For Emma's entrance, we performed 'This Year's Love' by David Gray, which we learnt especially for Emma & Olly. During the signing of the Register we performed 'Songbird', another favourite of Olly and Emma's.

As the new Mr & Mrs Wright mingled with their guests at their Drinks Reception, we performed an hour's acoustic set in the lovely lounge area. It was a real pleasure to perform for Olly and Emma, they make a fantastic couple!

Taylormade Acoustic Duo For Wedding - Sophie and Dean, Ashton Court Manor, Bristol

On 4th April, Carley and Matt had the pleasure of performing at the Wedding of Sophie and Dean at the gorgeous Ashton Court Manor in Bristol.

We performed 6 songs during their ceremony and Sophie had asked us to learn 'Lucky' By Jason Mraz for their special day which we performed as they exited the room as Husband and Wife.

We also played 'Songbird' By Eva Cassidy and 'Let It Be' By The Beatles amongst others. We then performed another 45 minute set during their drinks reception as Sophie and Dean had their photographs taken.

We would like to say Congratulations again to Sophie and Dean and wish them all the best for the future.

Taylormade Acoustic Duo - Acorn Childcare Charity Ball, Spalding

On the 13th March, Matt and I performed at the Acorn Childcare Charity Ball in Spalding, Lincs. We were so pleased to be asked to perform for such a worthwhile cause and had a lovely evening listening to the touching stories we heard. We performed 2 sets before the DJ and the ladies certainly knew how to have fun on the dance floor!

Kathy Holmes was the lady who organised the evening and we would like to say Congratulations to Kathy for doing such a fantastic job! A lot of money was raised throughout the evening and we know it will make many families very happy!

Taylormade Acoustic Duo -Sam and Harvey Schofield, Masa Chapel, Derby

On 20th March Matt and I had the pleasure of performing at the Wedding of Sam and Harvey Schofield in the Stunning Masa Old Chapel in Derby.

Sam and Harvey booked us after finding us on the agency 'Last Minute Musicians' and we had a great time performing for everyone.

We were booked as their evening's entertainment including our DJ service, and we started the night with a relaxed acoustic set which created a beautiful atmosphere as Sam and Harvey mingled with their guests.

For our second set we played more lively tracks like 'Maggie May' By Rod Stewart and 'Stuck in the Middle' By Steelers Wheel which got everyone on the dance floor!

We finished with our DJ into the early hours and I'm sure there were a few sore but happy heads the next morning!

We would like to wish Sam and Harvey all the best for their future together and would like to say Congratulations again to you both!

Taylormade Acoustic Duo - Acorn Childcare Charity Ball 13th March 2010

Matt and I will be performing at Acorn Childcare's Charity Ball in aid of The Rainbow Trust and Anna's Hope.

The ball will be taking place on 13th March 2010 in Spalding, Lincolnshire and we are all hoping to raise as much money as possible for this fantastic cause.

The Rainbow Trust provides practical and emotional support to families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness. They rely almost completely on donations and help around 1000 families every year.

Anna's Hope was set up by Anna's parents after their daughter died just age 3 from a brain tumour. The charity are hoping to raise money to fund research into the cure of children with brain tumours and improve the rehabilitation facilities and support available to those children who are hopefully cured.

JANE WOODWARD & ANDREW GARARD, GORSE HILL, SURREY

Our Acoustic Duo's second Wedding performance of 2010 took place at the very lovely Gorse Hill in Surrey, for the Wedding Reception of Jane and Andrew Garard. And, there was something of an unexpected twist to the evening...

...Moments after I played the first notes of our opening set, we found ourselves in complete darkness, with a power cut striking the Hotel and entire surrounding area!

A terrible shame for Andrew and Jane on their Wedding day, however, within minutes, hundreds of candles were glowing in every room, which along with the roaring log fires created a warm, romantic atmosphere!

We were, of course, left without power for our PA system but Carley and I took the chance to go the extra mile (as always!) and continued to play to the Wedding party completely 'unplugged' for the next 2 hours.

We performed a varied set, of classics such as The Pretender's 'I'll Stand By You' and modern covers such as Taylor Swift's 'Love Story' in the candlelight, to a very appreciative Wedding party, some of whom took to the floor for a slow dance by the fireplace! Carley even found herself with some extra backing vocals on some songs, as the 5 young Bridesmaids joined in the choruses!

The power didn't return all evening, but thanks to the fantastic response of the Wedding party, the candle-lit atmosphere, the sound of an acoustic guitar and Carley's beautiful yet powerful voice, a very lovely evening was had by all.

A rather unexpected twist...but one with a happy ending!

We wish Jane, Andrew and their guests the very best for their future.

Nicola & Romano Mazzocci - Curadine Barns, Worcesteshire

Taylormade Acoustic Duo started the New Year by performing at the Wedding of Nicola and Romano Mazzocci, at the beautiful Curadine Barns in Worcestershire.

The ceremony was held in the beautiful Granary Barn with it's high beams and stunning stone flooring. Matt and I performed 4 songs on the balcony overlooking the Granary Barn, 'Songbird' By Eva Cassidy as Nicola walked down the aisle, 'Fields Of Gold' and 'Come Away With Me' as they signed the register and 'Better Together' By Jack Johnson as they walked back down the aisle as Husband and Wife.

We then performed an hours set for Nicola and Romano's guests as the Bride and Groom had their pictures taken in the beautiful Worcestershire countryside.

We would like to wish Nicola and Romano a beautiful life together and wish them all the best for their future together.

Iain & Cat Humphrey, Tewin Bury Farm, Hertfordshire

This Saturday, Carley and I performed as Taylormade Acoustic Duo for the Wedding of Iain and Cat, at Tewin Bury Farm in Welwyn Garden City.

Iain and Cat booked us back in April this year for their evening reception and we had a fantastic time performing for them! It was a real pleasure to play for Iain, Cat and their guests, there was a fantastic atmosphere and a real sense of celebration.

We began the evening with their First Dance, 'I'll Stand By You' by The Pretenders, which we had learnt especially for them. It was a really touching moment and certainly a great song choice. We continued with some mellow love songs for our first set, before picking up the pace with a lively second acoustic set, including another special request, 'All I Need' by Air.

Following the acoustic sets, Carley and I got the Disco started and everyone danced the night away!

We'd like to again wish Iain and Cat the very best for their future together, starting with a lovely time in St Lucia this Christmas! We're not envious at all..... :-)

Taylormade Perform For The Forces at Andover

This week The Taylormade Live Band performed at the Christmas Party of The Army Royal Engineers 22 Squadron at Swinton Barracks.

It was the first time Taylormade have performed for the Armed Forces and we had a fantastic time! These Boys and Girls have been working hard out in the Middle East so they really knew how to let their hair down when it came to their Christmas Party!

We were booked to perform the following day as well but this has been postponed as some of the engineers have had to go up to Cumbria to fix the bridges after the terrible floods we have recently. We look forward to performing for them in a few Weeks time after their work is done!

Andrew & Kathryn Mitchell - Waddesdon Dairy, Buckinghamshire

This week Taylormade Acoustic Duo & Taylormade Live Band had the pleasure of performing at the Wedding of Andrew and Kathryn Mitchell at Waddesdon Dairy in Buckinghamshire.

Andrew & Kathryn booked us for Wedding Music Package 4 which included the Acoustic Duo, Live Band and DJ service to provide a complete entertainment package for their day.

We had the pleasure of learning 3 special songs for Andrew & Kathryn, and as they couldn't decide on their First Dance songs they had 10! Taylormade Acoustic Duo learnt 'Star' By Sara Storer, 'Love Story' By Taylor Swift and 'Inside Out' By Bryan Adams for them and it was a very tender moment as they took to the floor as Husband and Wife.

We kicked off the party section of the evening with the Taylormade Live Band and finished it with our fantastic DJ service!

We would like to thank Andrew and Kathryn for allowing us to be a part of their special day and wish them all the best for their future together.

Emma & Gavin Brough - The Crown Hotel, Carlisle

The worst storm of the year was predicted to hit the UK but that didn't stop The Taylormade Live Band from hitting the road last weekend and heading 250 miles north to the Lake District!

Taylormade had the pleasure of performing at the Wedding Reception of Emma & Gavin Brough at The Crown Hotel in Wetheral. Emma & Gavin had actually got married in Mexico and were having their Wedding Reception back home with all of their family and friends.

Emma & Gavin had booked us for Wedding Music Package 4 and Matt & I performed as the Acoustic Duo as Emma & Gavin and their guests dined. After the speeches we performed their First Dance which was 'Feels Like Home' By Edwina Hayes, originally from the Dawson's Creek TV show. This was a really tender moment as they took to the floor as Husband and Wife.The Taylormade Live Band then performed 2 sets and the dance floor was packed all night!

We would like to wish Emma & Gavin all the best for their future together and thank them for having us play a part in their celebration.

Sam & James Winstone - Live Wedding Music Hampshire

In November, the Taylormade Live Wedding Band performed at the gorgeous Elvetham Hotel in Hampshire. Sam & James had booked us after we performed at one of their friends Weddings earlier in the year.

We learnt 'Hero' By Enrique Iglesias for their First Dance and performed this for them in a really intimate and romantic moment as they took to the floor as Husband and Wife.

We then performed 2 x 60 minute sets with The Taylormade Live Band For Weddings and really enjoyed ourselves!

We would like to wish Sam & James all the best for their future and thank them for letting us play a part in their special day.

Shelly & Kev Winstone - Brookfield Golf Club, Cheshire

This month Carley and I had the pleasure of performing at the Wedding of Michelle & Kevin Winstone at the beautiful Brookfield Glof Club in Hankelow, Cheshire.

Although it was an October Wedding to sun was shining on their crisp, clear day. Shelly & Kev had booked us to perform their evening entertainment before the disco to get everyone warmed up, ready for the night ahead and we had a great time!

We learnt 3 songs for them, 'Iris' By The Goo Goo Dolls, (or Google Dolls if you ask Carley!) 'The Blowers Daughter' By Damien Rice, and ' Be The One' By Jack Penate. It's always great to learn new songs for people as they often turn out to be real gems!

The theme for the day was a lovely deep red and white which is exactly what we are having on our Wedding day! That's another great thing about our job ...... we get ideas for our own Wedding! Cheeky! They had a gorgeous cake and I think Carley has her eye on that design! Shelly she'll be calling you soon! LOL :-)

Matt & I have just been sent a video by Sara & James Edmundson whose Wedding Ceremony we performed at in September at the stunning Woburn Sculpture Gallery.

Sara had asked us to lead 'You've Got A Friend' By Carole King during the ceremony, and we learnt 'Stay With You' By John Legend especially for Sara & James, which we performed as they signed the Register.

Matt and I had been toying with the idea of getting some kind of video done for a while but didn't want it to be overproduced and 'staged', so we were delighted when Sara & James offered us this out of the blue.

At the ceremony we weren't aware we were being filmed so closely, come on Matt - smile! :-) However, we think it's a really touching, genuine video and captures the moment beautifully.

Michelle & Mark Millington - The Unicorn's Head, Langar, Nottinghamshire

Matt and I recently had the pleasure of performing at the Wedding of Mark & Michelle Millington in Nottinghamshire. The pub is owned by the Millington family and is a beautiful, traditional pub in the quaint village of Langar.

Mark & Michelle booked us to provide their evenings entertainment at their reception and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Their First Dance was to Lionel Richie's 'Stuck On You' a really beautiful song. We continued our first set with some very romantic songs such as 'Songbird' and 'Amazed' By Lonestar which created a beautiful intimate atmosphere.

For our second set we picked up the pace getting everyone on the dance floor! We performed 'I wanna dance with somebody' through to 'Maggie May' and Michelle didn't leave the dance floor until the very end!

We would like to wish Michelle & Mark a beautiful life together and hope they have a fantastic time in The States for their honeymoon.

Jayne & Geoff Sherwin - Deer Park Hotel, Devon

Also, In April 2011 Geoff will be attempting to cycle approx. 900 miles from Lands End to John O’Groats in less than 9 days to raise £10,000 for The Multiple Sclerosis Society. That’s over 100 miles each day, with no rest days!

Matt and I have just received a lovely letter from Sara & James Edmundson whose Wedding we performed at in September. Sara & James got married at the stunning Woburn Sculpture Gallery in Bedfordshire.

Jayne & Geoff Sherwin - Deer Park Hotel, Devon

In September, Matt and I had the pleasure of performing at Jayne & Geoff' Sherwin Wedding in the Devonshire countryside.

Jayne & Geoff booked us after seeing us perform live and by coincidence Jayne is originally from Wales too, in fact just down the road from where my parents live!

We performed 2 songs during their ceremony in the beautiful Broadhembury Church, 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow' By Eva Cassidy as Jayne walked down the aisle, and 'From This Moment' By Shania Twain as they signed the register.

We then moved onto the stunning Deer Park Hotel for the reception. We performed another set on the patio in the sunshine as Jayne, Geoff and their guests enjoyed a glass (or two!) of Bucks Fizz!

We learnt a song called 'When God Made You' By Newsong which is a very personal song to Jayne & Geoff and this was the first song of our set.

As we were going to be with Jayne and Geoff all day they had kindly invited us to dine with them and be a part of their Wedding Breakfast. We were honoured to dine with them and be such a big part of their celebration.

The speeches were really touching and in his speech, Geoff thanked us for making their day so special.

We performed again in the evening and Jayne and Geoff's First Dance was to 'Greatest Day' By Take That. After our set we kicked off the disco and the dance floor was packed until the small hours!

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would like to thank Jayne and Geoff for allowing us to be such a big part of their day. We wish them all the best for the future and hope they have a fantastic honeymoon in Turkey!

Clare & Andrew Cowie - The Marle Inn, Buckinghamshire

Matt & I recently had the pleasure of performing at the Wedding of Clare & Andy Cowie in the tranquil surroundings of the Marle Inn in Buckinghamshire. The Inn overlooks a beautiful lake so it was a stunning setting for their special day.

Clare & Andy booked our Acoustic Duo for 3 x 45 minute sets and then a DJ until 12.00am. We played some mellow background music via our laptop during the Wedding Breakfast and were honoured to sit down and eat with them and be a part of their day.

The speeches were very touching and it was clear for all to see how happy Clare & Andy are together.

We learnt their First Dance song which was 'You Make It Real' By James Morrison, which is also one of our favourite songs and it was a beautiful moment as they took to the floor as husband and wife.

We would like to wish Clare & Andy all the best for their future together and thank them for letting us be a part of their special day.

Sara & James Robinson - Woburn Sculpture Gallery, Bedfordshire

Matt & I recently had the pleasure of performing at the Wedding ceremony of Sara & James at the incredible Woburn Sculpture Gallery in Bedfordshire. The Wedding party looked fantastic in their outfits and the sun was shining in the stunning gardens.

Sara had asked us if we would learn 3 songs for their ceremony and we told her it would be a pleasure! We learnt 'Don't Look Down' By David Ryan Harris as a surprise for James, and performed this as Sara walked up the aisle to him.

During the ceremony we played 'You've Got A Friend' and everyone joined in which was a lovely moment!

For the signing of the register we performed two songs, 'Greatest Day' By Take That and ' Stay With You' By John Legend which was another one Sara had asked us to learn.

Finally, we performed 'I'm Yours' By Jason Mraz as Sara & James left the ceremony as Husband & Wife.

We would like to wish Sara & James all the best for their future together and hope they have a fantastic time in the Maldives!

Rowland Edwards' 60th Birthday Celebration - Yew Lodge, East Grinstead

In August, Matt & I had the pleasure of
performing at Rowlands 60th Birthday Party at the lovely Yew Lodge in East Grinstead.

Rowland had hired the venue exclusively and invited over 100 guests to celebrate his day!

We played lively tracks by The Killers, Guns N Roses and Rod Stewart to name a few, and Rowland and his guests danced all night long! Our first song of the second set was an impromptu rendition of Happy Birthday to Rowland!

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and Rowland has even asked us if we would play at their Cricket Clubs next presentation dinner. Rowland, we would be delighted!

Laura & Andrew Abley-Hughes - Orsett Hall Essex

In August Matt and I had the pleasure of performing at Laura & Andrews Wedding at the lovely Orsett Hall in Essex.

Laura & Andrew booked us to perform at their Wedding Ceremony itself, which we were honoured to do.

We performed a few songs as the guests were taking their seats and then 'Kissing You' By Des'ree as Laura walked up the aisle with her (no less than!) 7 bridesmaids!

The wedding party looked stunning in their outfits and it was a very touching moment as they took their vows.

They walked back down the aisle as Husband and Wife to 'How Sweet It Is To Be Loved By You' By Marvin Gaye.

Unfortunately, after the ceremony the heavens opened and there was just no stopping it. We went to Plan B and performed our other sets in the pavilion instead of the gardens, but it didn't dampen anyone's spirits! We left them ready to party until the early hours!

A slightly belated note, but a very worthy and exciting one nevertheless! You may have wondered who the mysterious 'Steve' is, as mentioned in our previous Live Wedding Band posts...well, it's high time we introduced him here on our blog!

Steve Rigg is a highy talented and sought after Drummer, and we're delighted to say that he is also our new Drummer, with The Taylormade Live Wedding Band!

As with all members of our Live Band, Steve is a Musician by profession and also tutors in the Buckinghamshire area. Julie & Graham Wood - The Inn At Woburn

Last weekend Matt and I had the pleasure of performing at Julie & Graham's Wedding at The Inn At Woburn in Bedfordshire.

We performed 6 songs at their ceremony, 'Amazed' By Lonestar and 'I Do Cherish You' By 98 Degrees as their guests took their seats.

Julie walked up the aisle to Eva Cassidy's 'Fields Of Gold', and we performed 'You're Still The One' By Shania Twain as Julie & Graham signed the register.

We also performed another song as they signed the register, which Julie had asked us to learn. It was 'White Horses' By Jackie Lee, the theme tune for an old children's TV programme of the same name.

We also learned 'Everything' By Michael Buble which we performed as they walked back up the aisle as husband and wife!

After their Wedding Breakfast, we played another set to warm everyone up before our DJ Service. Julie & Graham's First Dance was to 'The Way You Look Tonight' By Michael Buble; a beautiful moment as they took to the dance floor!

We would like to wish Julie & Graham all the best for their future together and thank them for allowing us to play a part in their day.

Taylormade Live Wedding Band - New Demo

We've been so busy lately I just haven't had the time to write our blog!

So whilst I've got a moment I thought I'd try and keep you up to date with all things Taylormade!

We've got 4 weddings this week alone and have been really busy taking bookings for 2010!

Matt & I were in the studio recently to record some demo's with our Taylormade Live Band.

We have recorded a version of Valerie By The Zutons which we have just added to our website. We're really pleased with the results so Click Here to have a listen!

It also gives Matt a chance to show off his electric guitar skills and it's really exciting for me to be able to perform with a full band again!

A really touching email - Emma & Andy Wimpress

We have just received a beautifully touching email from Emma & Andy Wimpress whose wedding we performed at on 8th August.

They said:

We both had a perfect day, we are so pleased that you were a part of it. We both have said that you music and singing was the icing on a fantastic day that we are never ever going to forget.

We are so glad that you were able to perform both in the chuch and at the venue to make our wedding day very personal to us. We both thought you were amazing. Everyone has commented on how brilliant they thought you were and we are so pleased we cannot begin to describe it. When you performed Amazing Grace I don't think there was a dry eye in the house, even some of Andy's macho friends have said it brought a tear to their eyes. A truely amazing moment.

Thank you again so much, you are both a real find, we'll never fully be able to describe how special and personal you made our day.

Emma & Andrew Wimpress - Crooked Barn, Lowestoft

This weekend Matt & I had the pleasure of playing at the Church Ceremony and Wedding Reception of Emma & Andrew Wimpress in Lowestoft, Suffolk.

We performed 3 songs in the beautiful Kessingland Church during their ceremony, 'Amazing Grace' as Emma walked up the aisle, and 'Hallelujah' as they signed the register.

We also performed 'Footprints In The Sand' By Leona Lewis which Emma had asked for specifically for their ceremony. It was a touching moment as Emma & Andy walked back down the aisle together as husband and wife.

We then headed to the reception venue which was the Crooked Barn in Oulton Broad. A beautiful venue with stunning gardens for their wedding photos.

We performed some beautiful mellow background music during their drinks reception in the courtyard, including 'Feels Like Home' By Edwina Hayes which was another song Emma had requested.

In the evening we performed Emma & Andy's First Dance which was 'Chasing Cars' By Snow Patrol. We then continued with a livelier set to get everyone on the dance floor and ready for our DJ Service.

We played favourites like 'I wanna dance with somebody' by Whitney Houston and 'Manic Monday' By the Bangles. Everyone was up on the dancefloor and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We then let our disco loose until the small hours!

We would like to wish Emma & Andy a beautiful life together as Husband and Wife and wish them all the best for the future.

Lisa & Andy Gaydon - Bishops Court, Exeter

Matt and I have just had the pleasure of playing at the Wedding of Lisa & Andy Gaydon at the incredible Bishops Court in Exeter, Devon.

Lisa & Andy had booked us to play at several different times throughout their day and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Our first set was in the front courtyard of the venue, outside in the summer sunshine. Lisa & Andy had their pictures taken in the beautiful surroundings and their guests enjoyed a cooling drink!

Our Second set was also outside but this time around the back of the venue after the Wedding Breakfast whilst everyone enjoyed the beautiful weather.

Lisa & Andy had asked us to learn 'Truly Madly Deeply' By Savage Garden, 'At Last' By Eta James and 'True Colours' By Cyndi Lauper.

These songs went down beautifully in the last of the evening sunshine and there was a very romantic atmosphere as we headed inside for the First Dance.

Lisa is a dance teacher and had persuaded Andy to learn a First Dance for them to perform in front of their friends and family. They looked fantastic together as they took to the dance floor and we performed 'You're Still The One'

Ali & Perry Baker - Belper, Derbyshire

Matt and I had the pleasure of playing at the Wedding Celebration of Ali & Perry Baker at their beautiful home in Belper, Derbyshire.

Ali & Perry decided they wanted a more relaxed celebration with their friends and family before the pressures of their big day at Shottle Hall (pictured) in August.

We were warmly welcomed into their home and they had even devised a fantastic stage in their garden for us! Luckily the weather stayed dry!

We had a great time performing for Ali, Perry & their guests and they even persuaded me to sing an impromptu performance of 'Delilah' By Tom Jones.

We gave 2 of Ali & Perry's guests an Egg shaker and a Tambourine and chaos ensued!

Probably not the most polished of our performances that night but definitely the funniest!

Luckily due to my Welsh roots I've been to enough rugby matches to know the words whilst Matt watched on highly amused by the situation!

We would like to wish Ali & Perry best wishes for their wedding and we hope they have a beautiful life together as husband and wife.

So Busy - But Still Time For Our Blog!

Matt and I have had an extremely busy time in the past few weeks travelling to Weddings and Events all around the UK.

We recently had the pleasure of playing a little bit closer to home at the beautiful Mendoza Cafe Bar in Aylesbury.

The venue has a fantastic function area, 'The White Room' where events and celebrations are regularly held.

Durston House School Fun Day - London

Matt & I had the pleasure of performing at the Durston House School Fun Day in London on the afternoon of 27th June.

It was a beautiful day with bright blue skys and sun tan lotion needed all round!

We were located between the BBQ and Cake Stand which was too much for Matt who had to indulge in a burger before the day was up!

Michael Jackson - King Of Pop

We were truly shocked and saddened to hear the news that Michael Jackson passed away on Thurday 25th June 2009.

As musicians, Michael had always been an inspiration for us and his music has always been a part of our lives - 'Thriller' was the first album Matt bought at the age of 5 and his music has been with us for as long as we can remember.

He was a true entertainer, his talents of singing, dancing, songwriting and movie-making were incredible and inspired a generation.

A true legend who will always be celebrated as The King of Pop.

Mike is a former Great Britain International 400m hurdler competing at 5 Olympic games and 6 Commonwealth Games and is currently involved in the London 2012 Olympics.

We performed for over 2 hours for Mike, Christine & their guests and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! They were a friendly bunch and were up dancing the whole night!

Thank you to Mike and Christine for welcoming us into their beautiful home and having us as part of their celebration!

Congratulations once again on 25 years of marriage!

It was lovely to be back in Wales driving through the beautiful countryside and finally get some time out from our busy schedule to see my family in Cardiff albeit just for a few hours!

Neil & Katherine Younger - Moore Place

On the 6th June we had the pleasure of playing at the beautiful Georgian Manor The Moore Place Hotel in Aspley Guise, Bedfordshire.

Neil & Katherine booked us for their evening entertainment and the whole wedding party were certainly in the mood for dancing!

We performed 2 x 45 minute sets starting with 'True Love Ways' by Buddy Holly which was a beautiful moment as they took their first dance as husband and wife.

We continued the rest of the sets with more lively tracks and Neil & Katherine hardly left the dance floor all night!We also learnt 'Love Minus Zero' especially for Neil as he is a huge Bob Dylan fan.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and wish Neil & Katherine all the best for their future together.

We'll keep you posted!

New Demo's on our website!

Just a line to announce the two new demo's on our website; 'Greatest Day' by Take That and 'I Wanna Dance With Somebody' by Whitney Houston.

We recorded 'Greatest Day' for one of our newly wedded clients. We learnt the song especially for their first dance, and Groom Richard requested we record it as a gift for his new wife. A beautiful gesture and a great keepsake for them both.

'I Wanna Dance With Somebody' was also a personal request of the same couple. We really enjoy playing this song and have played it at a couple of gigs since. It transfers fantastically to an acoustic arrangement.

Nathan & Tracy Douglas - Notley Abbey

We recently visited the stunning Notley Abbey in Aylesbury to perform at Nathan & Tracy's wedding ceremony.

Tracy booked us as a surprise for her husband to be after she saw us performing live at a local venue.

The ceremony was touchingly beautiful and we feel really privileged to have been a part of their big day.

We performed 4 songs during their ceremony starting with 'Endless Love' as Tracy walked up the aisle. We performed another 2 songs during the signing of the register, and our final song as they walked back down the aisle as husband and wife was 'My Girl'.

We would like to wish Nathan & Tracy all the best for their lives together.

Richard & Catherine Harding - Wroxall Abbey

Taylormade Acoustic Duo had the pleasure of playing at Richard & Catherine's wedding at the incredible Wroxall Abbey in Warwickshire.

This wedding was slightly different to others.....

We can't say too much at this stage other than the wedding was filmed for a popular TV programme which will be aired in September! We'll tell you more when we can!

Richard contacted us on the recommendation of one of our clients and booked us to provide our 'Complete Music Package' which included 2 x 45 minute acoustic sets and then a DJ set until the end of the night.

Richard had requested 'Greatest Day' by Take That as their First Dance followed by 'I Wanna Dance With Somebody' by Whitney Houston. The whole wedding party joined in with their first dance and they barely left the dance floor all night!

Catherine's family are Scottish and we were happy to play 'The Gay Gordons' which is a traditional Scottish Dance. This went down incredibly well as all of Catherine's family descended on the dance floor!

The wedding was a great success and Richard has since contacted us to request a recorded version of their First Dance 'Greatest Day'. We were delighted to be able to do this and a lovely gesture from Richard to his new wife!

We would like to wish them all the best for the future.

Andrew & Sharon Mellors - Larmer Tree Gardens

Taylormade Acoustic Duo had the pleasure of playing at Andrew & Sharon's wedding at the beautiful Larmer Tree Gardens, near Salisbury in Wiltshire.

The grounds were full of exotic birds from Parrots to Peacocks and we were lucky enough to be able to play on the stunning band stand.

The weather was incredible and we were both slightly envious watching the wedding party eating ice cream and sipping Pimms on the lawn as we sat and performed!

Andrew & Sharon requested 'Feel' by Robbie Williams and 'The Sea' by Morcheeba as part of our hour long set and it was a pleasure to perform for them and their guests.

We would like to wish them all the best for the future.
